Desler Painting works out of a shop on 3410 Black Oak Ct in Huntingtown. Most exterior jobs run several days, so we work one house at a time rather than bouncing between towns. That is also why exterior slots get first call on the calendar — humidity coming off the Bay decides when a coat can safely go on.
The work stays residential. We do not chase commercial or industrial contracts, which keeps the schedule honest — your kitchen is the job that week, not filler between warehouse projects.

Newer builds at the north end of the county. The real work here is usually caulking and priming new construction surfaces so the color actually holds.

Mid-county, every era
Mid-county, and a mix of eras. Dale looks at the substrate before quoting, because 1980s hardboard siding and newer vinyl take different products.
Prince Frederick
The county seat
The county seat, and the newest housing in the county — around three homes in five went up after 2000. Mostly interiors and exteriors, with cabinet and trim work on the newer builds.

Southern Calvert
Southern Calvert, often down a long lane. Worth a walkthrough rather than a phone quote, which is how we price every job anyway.
Chesapeake Beach
Bay-side exposure
Bayfront exposure is hard on an exterior finish. Coats go on earlier in the day here so they can flash off before the evening humidity rolls in.

If you are outside our primary service area, contact us anyway. Depending on the size and scope of the job, we can often travel beyond our standard coverage area — and if not, we will say so before you make the drive.

Estimates are free and carry no obligation, wherever you are in the service area. Dale comes out, walks the rooms or the elevations, and gives you a written price — we do not quote painting over the phone, because the condition of a surface moves the number far more than its size does.

What areas does Desler Painting serve?
Desler Painting is based in Huntingtown and Owings, Maryland, and serves the surrounding Calvert County communities — Dunkirk, Sunderland, Prince Frederick, Port Republic and Chesapeake Beach. If you are just outside that area, call anyway; depending on the size and scope of the job we can often travel further.
Do you charge more to travel to the far end of the county?
No. Everything listed here is inside a comfortable drive of the Huntingtown base, so the town you are in does not change the price. What moves a quote is the condition of the surface and how much preparation it needs.
Can I leave my home while your crew works?
Yes. Most people we work for are not home while the work is going on. Desler Painting is licensed and fully insured, and we are used to working in occupied homes — furniture covered, floors protected and everything cleaned up before we leave.
Do you cover Southern Maryland beyond Calvert County?
Southern Maryland traditionally means Calvert, Charles and St. Mary's counties. Our own work stays close to the shop, concentrated in Calvert County from Owings down to Port Republic, because exterior jobs get scheduled around the weather and we need to be able to move a crew at short notice.
